John dies at the end is a fantastic book. Good humor, interesting story and twists, I'd highly recommend to anyone really. Don't want to spoil too much. Now that I've read the book ill be watching the movie

Really random and out of the box book. Love the style it's written in and really needed to get out of this world for a few hours and this book sure did that!

I'd heard great things about this and liked David Wong's writing online

I'd heard great things about this and liked David Wong's writing online, but to be honest this was a disappointment. It just sort of rambles on and on without ever being more than mildly amusing and I put it down halfway through and never bothered to pick it up again. I think maybe as an online article writer he struggled to structure his first novel properly, but then humour is massively subjective so maybe it just didn't work for me.
